All cloth doll "Little Shaver" by Madame Alexander circa 1940's. She has a pressed mask face with handpainted facial features, side-glancing eyes, "O" shaped mouth, auburn hair in long curls, and a padded stockinette body. Clothing looks to be original, with a black top and a pretty coral sheer skirt with ruffled hem. Lacy fingerless gloves, petticoat, panties with lace trim, black velvet shoes, a reticule with drawstring top and faux flowers, as well as a flowered headdress. She has a dress tag that reads " Little Shaver/ Madame Alexander/ New York/ All Rights Reserved " Approximately 16" tall. Condition: She is in very good overall condition with age appropriate wear. Her clothing has no staining or large holes. Her sheer skirt has two tiny holes on backside, and one tiny hole on front. She has good facial color with no dirt or staining. Her hair is a tad bit mussed, and one section at her nape needs a touch of glue (see pic), but hangs in curls still. Her floral accents are a bit bedraggled from being stored and age. Her velvet shoes look good, with one tiny dot on bottom of one shoe that is actually a wire starting to poke through a tiny bit. Her left sleeve shows a bit more shine to the fabric, age or heat? Does not detract greatly. Overall she presents quite nicely. Be sure to check out all 20 pictures and use enlarger for best description.
