After researching information about this razor for an antique collector, I discovered that this LADY REMINGTON LEKTRONIC CORDLESS SHAVER was produced by the original Remington Rand company which was established in 1927. However, in 1955, Remington Rand merged with the Sperry Corporation. I n 1960, Remington launched an iconic product, the Remington Lektronic, world’s first cordless shaver. Remington remains however one of the game changers in the electric shaving history and their innovations contributed massively to the development of the modern electric razor. According to the patent/trademark office, only a few of these items were made. The Remington Lektronic II and Remington PRINCESS was produced as a replacement for this shaver in 1963 and the production of the pink shaver was halted. This is one of the shavers from the late 50's. You can hear power getting to the shaver, but I could not get the item to actually power on. If you enjoy an item to tinker with, this would be great for you to figure out. This item is sold as is.
